Vacancy: Volunteer Matchday Secretary
Bamber Bridge FC is inviting applications for the role of Volunteer Matchday Secretary.
Following the departure of our previous secretary, the club is seeking a professional and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Volunteer Matchday Secretary.
Matchday secretary is a key position that helps keep the club running professionally, compliantly and smoothly every time the team step onto the pitch. Working alongside the Club Secretary, Board of Directors and Football Management Team, the Secretary ensures the club meets FA regulations, County FA requirements and Northern Premier League standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Matchday administration — coordinating all first‑team processes
- Team sheets & competition paperwork — preparing and submitting official documents
- Liaison duties — working with opposition clubs, match officials and league administrators
- Player registrations — assisting with registrations, loans and eligibility
- Compliance support — ensuring rules are followed pre‑match and on matchday
- Disciplinary records — maintaining suspension and discipline logs
Post‑match documentation — submitting reports where required
